Persuading the employer, question about the disability

  • Mentioning the disability in a resume or letter of intention is not an advantage, unless you approach a company that you know is looking for candidates with disabilities.
  • After the meeting for employment, if your disability is not a visible one and does not affect in any way the desired job, is unnecessary to address this issue with the speaker. Otherwise, if the disability is visible, prove that it does not adversely affect the job.
  • If the disability can influence the post concerned, it should be not hidden to the employer, but it must be presented in a way to show that you can handle the responsibilities assigned.
